Anyone running a Pixel Tablet with GrapheneOS?

I know the internet didn’t love the tablet but I wonder how much of that is hardware and how much is Android itself.

I’m running grapheneos on my pixel tablet. My biggest complaint is that the screen is only 60Hz, makes the whole thing feel more sluggish than my phone. Otherwise it’s a fine tablet.

Remember, 60Hz feeling slow is simply something that is used to sell you more expensive stuff you don’t need. 60Hz is perfectly fine. If I can game at 60Hz anybody can use a daily driver tablet at 60Hz.

60Hz feeling a lot more sluggish than a high refresh rate display is a fact, not just marketing. There are diminishing returns after 120Hz, but the jump from 60Hz is immense and very noticeable.

Guys I feel like you’re missing my point here…

My point is that you don’t NEED more for just a tablet. I’m not saying there isnt any difference…

Plus, running lower refresh rates improves battery life by quite a bit.

I can use the tablet just fine, I did say it’s a fine tablet overall. It just feels worse to use than my phone with a 144Hz display, and it feels like an odd choice when most phones have >60Hz displays.

I do. It’s fine. Probably overpriced when I bought it, but you can find good deals now (and on the insanely priced base for it). It does definitely feel cheaper than a Pixel phone, but it works perfectly well.

    I’ve got two running GOS.

One as my daily carry, another a home security system controller and family Spotify tablet.

I use the daily carry with separate user accounts (home / work) and complement with a usi2.0 stylus and Nebo Notes for hand written notes.

I have one using graphene and I love it. I only bought a tablet recently but find the tablet form great for an around the house device, and graphene doesn’t get in the way at all.

We regularly use our samsung tablet with lineageOS. It’s cool for youtube in bed, or as entertainment for the kids on the road. Never felt I need the latest security features of graphene on there.
