I use XMPP and it’s good. SimpleX is even better at anonymising meta data afaik
I use Track & Graph from F-Droid for a similar purpose. I noticed pretty quickly that the data I want to track just isn’t generic enough to find a tailored app for it. So I setup several reminders through the app to enter the various measurements at set points in time each day and get a nice graph to dislay it.
Can you explain why you would think Steam is so bad? I would argue they’re pretty fair, especially with the option to buy steam cards for cash to not disclose your personal data. Does the client do some unsavory shit?
You can use filen.io, which I like. It’s based in Germany and GDPR compliant.
