the year of the linux mobile has come!
what about more minimal office apps, like calligra?
so, GSI is just android with fast updates and the possibility to only have foss or have no apps? that’s not what I need, I want a system with microg or nothing instead of google services, only foss apps but ideally no apps preinstalled(that, GSI can do) and also privacy features like microphone and camera blocking. I think I’ll just use lineage, or install a real linux on it.
ok who the heck uses windows servers? I don’t think even microsoft does.
never heard of AOSP GSI, I’m on CalyxOS rn but I might temporarily switch because they’re unmaintained while doing their audit.
yeaj, if you use something AOSP based you should be fine, until they find a way to prevent people from using AOSP. I’m on calyxos with only open source apps but I’ll soon switch to Chimera Linux.
when you have ads on your phone, it’s on some websites you browse, or some apps, right? well, what of your system had the ads? android doesn’t do it YET, but it might come.
aaaaaand that will change!
definately not!
I’ll fucking make my own currency! (this might not be a joke)
maybe npm doesn’t support combudtion engines anymore :(
carbon free? how do you know that nobody emptied a bottle of sparkling water in there?
also, more seriously, does anyone realize that there are greenhouse gasses way more dangerous than carbon dioxyde, like methane?
I’m pretty sure that’s what’s meant by ‘ethical hacker’ in most cases and that’s why I wanted to point out the difference you are pointing out right now.
not doing something by fear of the law is not ethical. that said, some of them are ethical, but ethical hacker would mostly include grey hats, which they wouldn’t want because they can’t say illegal hackers use their device.
aren’t both bad? I don’t know adguard but already ublock origin didn’t have enough options to unbreak websites, it was either on or off, so lite… now I just use uMatrix and adjust the settings for each site.
“ethical hacker’s swiss army knife” I hate it when they always add “ethical”. First of all, when you say ethical you mean law-fearing, they don’t really care about ethics and, secondly, “regular” hackers use it too, so it’s just a hacker’s swiss army knife…
there’s also devuan if you want, debian but with init freedom!
I use dinit with artix linux(for of arch).
I don’t see what the use case for VOID is.
SS is a weird name but ok.
