  • HOW does this genocidal state have such an insane stranglehold on our country?

Before AIPAC there was another Israeli organization that donated to politicians.

After years of fighting a committee ruled that it had to register as a foreign agent.

So Israel created AIPAC and then gave Max donations to the people on the committee that decides who has to register as a foreign agent.

Which is why AIPAC has never had to register.

As both parties continually got rid of campaign finance law, AIPAC kept increasing what they gave, and started throwing insane money at anyone critical of Israel in the primary when it’s cheap.

Over decades they’ve bought the only two options and ensured the only two options were peo-Israel over anything else

    The worst part …

They’re not the only organization, even foreign country. Doing this to ensure they always win.

Luckily while Ken Martin does have a pro-Israel bias, while running Minnesota he was one of the few state chairs who refused to work against anti-genocide Dems in primaries or generals. Which resulted in Minnesota being one of the progressive strongholds despite no one guessing it would shake out that way a decade ago.

So I want to be clear:

The people fucking up the DNC for decades is gone, we need to support the new DNC to keep it out of their hands. The people running the DNC six months ago wants the current DNC to take the fall so they can move back in.

  • Do it, fuck up Twitter, Amazon, meta, and everyone else that shared a stage with trump.

The only language they know is $, if trump is bad for their money, they’ll go against trump.

These are people obsessed with wealth over every thing else, it’s not hard to manipulate them, but when rational adults regain power, we need to tax the ever loving shit out of them because no matter what happens, they’ll always choose “more money”.

  • Protesting a dealership when no one wants to buy one is performative.

Where protests should be happening is factories because even if Musk has to shut down one day, that is expensive, and it’s expensive to start it back up again.

So what’s really effective is protesting factories and not letting workers in.

    For a day or two.

Then leaving till it’s started back up for a couple days, and just repeating that. Make them open and close production constantly. Make Tesla workers tires of the bullshit, better yet make Musk fire them so they get severance and unemployment.

    So:

Look at the risk/reward of what you want to do/say at a dealership. Nothing you put on a sign is going to change anyone’s minds.

To quote a saying that’s been around for way to long:

You can beat the charges, but you can’t beat the ride

Meaning it doesn’t matter if what you’re doing is illegal, cops can still beat you, take you to jail, and just drop charges 10 minutes before you get to see a judge.

    Edit:

moderately upscale suburb of DC with a particularly liberal (not leftist, liberal) population base. The protest has been happening every Saturday for several weeks now, and usually pulls around 200-300 people

Why the fuck is 200-300 people next to DC not fucking protesting politicians?

I assumed you were in some random city, you all are literally right next to DC and instead of taking advantage of that you’re wasting your time with this?

Go fucking protest the actual government in DC, lots of Americans would love to switch locations with you so they could have the opportunity you’re wasting.

Especially since DC is probably the last place that needs people to be discouraged from buying a Tesla right now.

  • seem to ask questions so obvious that I am curious if it’s designed to test AI responses and use upvotes to score the results.

Everyone views their own intelligence as “average” even if they consciousnessly know it’s significantly higher/lower than average, we’re our own frame of reference.

So for some people AI seems just as smart as an average person, those people are really hyped for AI.

Other people think AI is shite, but are starting to doubt if something is AI or just an idiot.

I know there’re a lot of dipshits out there but are there so many that those posts routinely reach the front page multiple times a day?

    It’s how bell curves work.

As more and more people leave reddit because it’s shit, the people making it shit don’t notice and become a greater percentage of users. So it gets shittier and a new group realizes and leaves.

It’s how social media circles the drain, Facebook and Twitter are examples of where it’s headed.

When it adjusts to the new lowest common denominator, that makes people leave, and lowers the denominator.

  • Conceivably, you could run trials by having a judge (or panel of judges) bring forth the evidence they thought was important.

This is what cops are supposed to do.

They’re supposed to investigate a crime and narrow down from “everyone” to “the person who did it”.

Once they have enough evidence they bring it to the prosecutor who decides if it would win in court.

Then the state presents that evidence to a judge, and the defendant gets to defend themselves.

  • Article explains it:

Shortly after Arison was hired as CEO in October, Twitter users unearthed tweets he’d written expressing support for conservative politicians, many of whom had expressed anti-LGBTQ+ views. Robin was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt after he told staff he would change, but says the recent alleged union busting has broken that trust.

They hired a rightwingers as CEO, and even if he changed his mind on social policy, he’s still obviously a Republican on fiscal.

This is a way to get rid of highly paid people since the labor pool for tech ballooned after twitter fired everyone.

He’s hoping for a short dip, then replacing everyone for cheaper salaries.
