Is this really fine? Should we see AI as human?
The world? I don’t think so, it was mostly their allies I think. America actually suppresses people deviating from the norm, they are trying to dismantle BRICS because of it represents a alternative to the dollar.
Don’t give scientists ideas, the somewhat dire wolfs are already here and all.
Do you guys remember when internet was the thing and everybody was like: “Look, those dumb fucks just putting everything online” and now is: “Look at this weird motherfucker that don’t post anything online”
I’m surprised that people consider Aurora store inferior to PlayStore. I’m not familiar with k-anonimity, but you can run aurora through a proxy.
That’s a big one, you can disable it, but if the other person has it enabled there is a possible leak after decryption also.
Both signal and molly are considered safe, a lot of apps use the same protocol as signal, most risk come from messages leaks before the encryprion happens.
Unfortunately, I’m not aware if they did external audits, but both codes are available in github.
The status quo isn’t proof that controlling what people do is possible?
Seems like a problem of logistics, the controlling of public opinion.
I understand that is hard to not carry all the world problems, specially for empathic people.
There’s a hardened “version” of signal called molly
It’s a competitive salary, because it is a salary and you have to compete with others to have it.
It’s almost as if there’s a pressure on one, but not on the other.
I agree, I’ve noticed that there is a push to make people think of AI as human to increase the acceptance, some media(movies, series…others) are stopping to depict it as a danger and more like a guardian or even a sentient companion like it could cross the programming and become human, it’s complex how vulnerable we are to projecting ourselves over other beings or things and develop parasocial or codependent relationships.
