CV Dazzle is a computer vision camouflage strategy developed in 2010. Unlike disruptive-pattern material, CV Dazzle is bright and bold, and evades detection by breaking weaknesses in automated pattern recognition systems.

It is being called “cv dazzle” to defeat facial recognition like that used by Facebook.

I’m wondering if anyone has experience using this in protest, or if you’ve heard local coverage about it?

    If you read the page you linked it says it defeated an old algorithm that’s no longer used.

        Not the original commenter, but basically covering your face is all you really need. If you’re worried about being tracked/identified your phone is the biggest threat.
