for the filter: Elon
It’s very likely, tho honestly even if he had an iq of 300 i wouldn’t care if things he says will remain bullshit.
He’s also “good at Diablo” or whatever it was. And “really smart about business.” And “really smart about rockets.” And blah blah blah. It’s all bullshit. Just listen to him. He can barely form coherent sentences.
I find it hard to believe someone can recognize patterns well enough to do well on an IQ test could also be so stupid as to not realize everyone hates him and just wants his money.
I mean for what its worth emotional intelligence (recognizing everyone hates you and just wants your money) is a whole different thing. That said, I’m pretty sure he’s just an idiot in general too. Maybe smarter than the average person, but certainly not three standard deviations smarter.
Anyone that cares about an IQ result is a permanent clown that deserves to be laughed at until they’re dust
I bet his test results are a different scale, like imperial, but converted to normal metric standards he scores below average. Everything he says and does shows he really wants people to believe he’s smart and he’s willing to lie as much as needed to make people believe him, but he never actually shows anything of actual intelligence. On the contrary really.
I took a IQ test online it said I Genius.
My IQ test done through school came back with super high results. I’m 33 and work part time at a bakery while on my fourth year of a two year program. It doesn’t fucking matter.
if Musk’s got a high intellect-quotient, that’s fine…
What does it measure?
A very-specific subset of intelligences, crafted to leave-out female relational-intelligences, musical-intelligence, health-intelligence, among other ones…
https://www.amazon.com/Seven-Kinds-Smart-Identifying-Intelligences/dp/0452281377/
identifies 9 intelligences, & I defy most Mensa-types to consistently score high on those other ones…
It is the IQ lobby which won’t tolerate the other-intelligences to be counted equally-valid, right?
With reason: they aren’t good at those intelligences.
( hint: musical-intelligence includes multiple sub-intelligences, including, but not limited-to…
- rhythm
- harmony
- melody
- improv/jazz
- composition
- polyrhythm
- etc…
A person can have a “musical intelligence” of whatever, & be brilliant in rhythm, but lousy in harmony, xor vice versa.
Too-coarse-granularity’s consistently a problem with these damn measures : )
