Why did they abandon it? I thought they merged it in a while back.

They are as unreliable as cheap microcenter flash drives now. I’ve been burned too many times, and couple of those time were literal burns too!
Wait is this like what onbase does?

For example, ads for native and old spice are everywhere on YouTube and super obnoxious so when I need body wash and I hit the store, my fist reaction to seeing those brands is to recall the negative emotions I felt from the last time I had to interact with that brand. So they are spending money to get me to avoid their products.

Looking up how to pull off pci passthrough on an SBC I have as well as answer a few lingering filesystem questions I get nothing but slop. The useful shit isn’t even visible anymore. And if I ask chatGPT to sift through it all, it can’t do it either, instead regurgitating all the slop it can’t make sense of either.
We are looking at the destruction of the greatest library in mankind’s history. Because NVIDIA’s line must go up.

Business majors are so fucking stupid.

Whatever happened to that? I know it was a joke but they already have the Antarctica server so why not run with this too?

This will devour them.

It doesn't matter if it's NSFW or not.English101·4 days agoAttention developers: stop making apps. If you want profit, make a subscription to an account with a web app. Want to keep people happy? Subscription only charges them once. Bonus, the web app you write once works on everything, including those niche Linux phones.
Government moves to censor websites? Darknets aren’t just for criminals and conspiracy theorists anymore. Whitelist sites? We move to mesh networks like reticulum.
We nerds can move faster than a government can, especially this one.
Best thing about this is that moves like this totally destroy the profit-centric internet of today, flinging us back to a simpler, weirder, better classical internet we grew up with.

I know at least in medical billing there’s always someone still using a damn fax machine. Almost every claim passes through fax technology at some point, although more and more of it is being emulated.
Where I work, it’s used mostly by emergency rooms that don’t want to use anything else.
This is not an environment where you want an exploit.
muusemuuse@sh.itjust.worksto Technology@lemmy.world•Two New Windows Zero-Days Exploited in the Wild — One Affects Every Version Ever ShippedEnglish41·4 days agoNope. You don’t need to be using the driver. The article explains that an attacker call upon it and exploit it simply because it is there.

Data brokers are a thing. They sell your information to anyone they want and aren’t responsible for anything that happens.
We don’t. Thats the point. If you organize into a single group you are now a target that can be destroyed. Ask the black panthers.
Instead, share everything and help eachother. Stay decentralized.
