Wow, so even if you code in your spare time, using your own PC, your employer owns ALL your work??
That sounds fucked up. Just find a better employer if they won’t change your contract, they should just remove ALL such clauses. What you do in your spare time using personal resources is none of their business.

They do have contracts and are obligated to provide a certain “up time”, which is usually 99% or so. If they fail to provide that, they are liable to compensate for the losses.
Or do you think that Amazon is above the law and no other company could sue them?
It all depends on what kind of contracts they have.

That’s what you get when you let go hundreds of employees from your cloud computing unit in favour of AI.
I hope they end up having to compensate all the billions of losses they caused to all the businesses and people.
In July, its cloud computing unit cut at least hundreds of jobs — and perhaps more — following a warning from CEO Andy Jassy that the adoption of generative AI would lead to layoffs.
“As we roll out more Generative AI and agents, it should change the way our work is done,” Jassy said in a note to employees in June, per Reuters. “We will need fewer people doing some of the jobs that are being done today, and more people doing other types of jobs.”
Haa ha. Fucking idiots.

I swear Microsoft does that.

I would guess you’d need a model that’s at least just as powerful and smart as the original model that created the content. Otherwise it’s like asking a 10 year old to proof read an article written by an adult.

Aren’t these only produced by laser printers?

But with an extra trillion and all the freshwater on earth we can cut the time to 2 months!!!

Tried it when it was initially released and it was crap. Did it get any better since?
