Pea green is what I’ve always called it.
The only good authoritarian is a dead authoritarian.

Pea green is what I’ve always called it.
That’s like saying Mexico isn’t following EU use of burner phones. The Swiss are not part of the EU, so why are they being compared to them?
I’ve heard a lot of ridiculous takes in my time, but IP being a cornerstone that holds up society is some next level bullshit.
I’m shocked. Shocked, I tell you.
How do you have “intellectual property” in the first place? It’s absolutely absurd that you can claim ownership of an idea that no longer exists in your mind alone.
So I’ll have another “crime” under my belt, I see. What’re they gonna do, write an angry letter to me about it?
That’s a whole lotta words to say you don’t know how to set up Jellyfin correctly.
My whole family loves it, they use it across quite a few different devices, and they enjoy the fact that they can get anything they want using Jellyseer. And since I’m not some paranoid nutter that thinks having my services exposed to the web is going to be the end of my life, they also enjoy the unified account experience that the LDAP server provides them, where they can manage their SSO password and 2FA from an easy-to-use web interface that in turn allows them to access all the other services on the server, and from any device anywhere in the world without needing to do stupid stuff like upgrade their router for Tailscale.
FUCKING DO IT
I look forward to playing these for free in a year or two when an emulator that works on the Steam Deck is released.
I don’t think you need to train a dog to be a dog, you could probably just let them manage it on their own.
It added that the privacy tool “particularly penalized smaller publishers,” as they depend to a large extent on the collection of third-party data to fund their businesses.
If your business depends on collecting the private data of users to sell to other companies, then you don’t deserve to exist as a business. I don’t care if these are the “little guys”, the entire ad business is a parasitical industry.
Oh shit yeah I’m gonna have to boot it up again
How the mighty have fallen.
It’s not just the subscription they want to avoid. Office has been steadily enshitified to the point nobody I know likes using it anymore.
I thought it just allowede easier debugging, sorry
What the fuck, this dude is making a browser and he doesn’t know what shit in the code he’s shipping even does?
Let’s put it this way, I’m hosting about 30 Docker containers including a full Servarr stack, Jellyfin, and Mastodon on an old Dell workstation intended for office work.
Fair use doesn’t mean shit if you’re a pirate.
Arr, matey.
It’s not impossible to pirate without a VPN, just use Usenet. Until a couple months ago when I had some free time and was super super bored, I hadn’t even bothered to tell SABnzbd to use a VPN. Over two ISPs and however many hundreds of episodes and movies watched, I never got any letters. Likewise, you usually are pretty safe on private torrent trackers, because copyright trolls don’t like putting in the effort of maintaining access.
I mean, they’re still killing machines. Cats can absolutely decimate a local ecosystem if they are allowed to breed out of control. Which is why it’s so important to spay or neuter your pets, as well as any strays that can be caught.
