  • I’ve been curious about Lethal Company, but I’m not a streamer and I don’t have friends to play with.

That said there’s another game almost identical to LC called Murky Divers and instead of going around different research stations on different planets, you’re cleaning out research stations underwater.

You have a sub that you use to go around the ocean, and there’s like a radar to help you navigate, avoid creatures and obstacles, and find locations to actually go into. There are all manner of creepy underwater creatures and anomalies to find/avoid, and I’m sure there’s at least one giant sea creature that can come and fuck you up if you’re not careful.

Tbh I didn’t get very far because as soon as I pulled up to a location and got out of the sub, I freaked out and turned the game off. I ended up refunding it because, again, I don’t have friends to play with and I’m not a streamer lol. But it did seem like an interesting spin on the concept.

  • Another one for Jak & Daxter. I’ve got OpenGOAL and PCSX2, and between them both I have the full Jak series. I was playing Jak 3 when I had a crash, but then I had been playing it like all day.

I’ve also been making my way through the first three Sly Cooper games (loved the series as a kid, but only ever got to play the third one for myself) and they’ve been running flawlessly.

My plan is to play through the Ratchet & Clank PS2 games as I never really got a chance to play them when they were fresh or otherwise. I’m excited for those.

Then I might go and play through the Spyro PS2 era games, minus the original trilogy as I have Reignited already.

Aside from those I have a bunch of other classics I’ve played and loved/wanted to play like the Tak games, Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2, Batman: Vengeance, and others.

I would also be open to suggestions. I’m very into 3D platformers and action RPGs.

  • Nexus’s Vortex will be your friend. The Steam Workshop will be your best friend from elementary school.

Vortex works with Nexus mods damn near flawlessly. It’s pretty easy to set up as there are instructions to guide you through the process.

Workshop is literally just a single click to download and install mods to your games. Sometimes you may have to activate the mods in the games themselves.

Other than that, I’ve found modding to get easier the more you do it. You start to see patterns and pick up on where certain files should go or how they should interact and work. People will make their own mod managers for specific games (I have the Sonic Adventure 2 Mod Manager for instance) as well.
