Lol. When I was 4 my pet parakeet died and my parents told me they buried it. My thinking was it probably died because they buried it so I dug it up and put it back in its cage. My Mom was horrified.

Oh yeah mine was smart but not about swimming! Went to the lake once and she started just swimming towards the opposite side until I literally had to swim out and go rescue her lol. Best dog I ever had though, they’re so full of love.

There’s no way my (old and gone now) Labrador would ever even consider for 1 second staying in that boat. Water = swim until I physically cannot.
