Very true. Also, a lot of people went ape on home gym setups in 2020 with all the gyms closed. Some of those people are offloading the equipment now as they want more space for other things in the house, and you can get stuff significantly discounted.

I have a set of these (I didn’t pay retail, got them cheap off Craigslist). Adjustable from 10 to 90 lbs and a bench press. With these 2 things, I can do most exercises from the comfort of my home. I have no gym membership, but stay in decent shape. At the end of the day, it’s all about your discipline and sticking to it. Imo it’s much easier and more convenient for me to just go to my garage to work out vs driving 15 mins to/ from. It’s not for everyone tho. Some people like the social aspects of a gym.

Like it or not, that’s been the interpretation since the founding of the US. It is not the case in some other countries, but I’m assuming we are talking about the US here. What most people miss is it only restricts the government from punishing your speech, not private entities. Insults, defamation, and lies, are absolutely allowed, but you can be found liable civilly for any damage done by this speech either through punitive damages (lawsuit settlement) or other means, deplatforming, loss of employment, etc.
threats, calls for hatred, are a bit of a gray area. It depends on the severity of the threat, but true threats can be prosecuted.
Hate speech is generally allowed, but if it is inciteful enough to be a true threat, it too can be prosecuted.

They actually did remake Blazing Saddles. It came out in 2022. Instead of a black sheriff, it was a kids movie about a dog that wanted to be a Samurai in a town of cats in Japan. It was originally titled Blazing Samurai, but they changed the name to Paws of Fury. It was pretty mediocre. I was watching it with my kid without knowing it was a remake of blazing saddles and I was noticing a lot of similarities with the story, then I noticed Mel Brooks was voicing one of the characters and went and looked it up. Fuckin great. I ran out of hotspot like a month ago while working remotely on a road trip. I needed hotspot right then /there, and my phone is on a family plan. Increasing my hotspot data meant I had to do it for the whole family plan and pay almost double the amount on the monthly bill. I thought I outsmarted the system by getting a mint mobile 3 month subscription for like $40 to just use for that trip… Aaaaaand my data’s been breached… Cool…
Tigers can jump like a motherfucker too. The SF zoo had like a 15 foot chasm between the visitors and them. One day some 20 ish year old guys tried to yeet pinecones at one of the tigers. They fucked around n found out. The tiger leapt out of the enclosure n fuckin murdered one of them and maimed another. Now the tiger enclosure is way bigger.
