When I was a teen it wasn’t the government I was afraid of, but digital devices were just as likely to be read as paper. What I did was keep anything I needed to be private at school, work, a friend’s. Is any of that an option? Would a super old laptop with a fresh OS that you never connect to the internet be safe in your home?
For the price of two big studio games, you can buy yourself a pair of running shoes, DND dice, a few books, watercolor and paper, and have some money leftover. It’s not that you can’t afford it, it’s that the way capitalism is designed makes you too exhausted to have a hobby.
Today I decided to start the day with a swim. I arrived at the pool at 11am. I just don’t get how people do it. Also, if I do any sort of physical activity without having had a full meal that day, I can literally feel myself run out of energy within minutes.
All cops perpetuate the states monopoly on violence. Their primary purpose is also usually to uphold the interests of capital. I mean, just look at pro Palestine demonstrations in Europe. Depending on who you ask, that’s pretty bad.
That doesn’t mean that everyone becomes a cop for nefarious reasons though.
Correct me if I’m mistaken, but iirc it is the smell of the chlorine reacting with any pollutant, not just pee. Skin cells and skin oils will make it smell like that, too.
