I have not looked beyond the front page of the link you shared here, and I don’t mean my criticism to be more than tongue in cheek, but oh boy, $2k for that is… Something.

Yes, I remind myself that each gray is at least there. I have a wonderful, full head of hair, and I never take it for granted by shaving it off. It’s an insult to all of my bald and balding friends.

Early 2000s internet was so good. I don’t know that it’s possible to go back there. You needed it to be a little bit wild west, you needed to say “Hey, if I click this website, am I going to regret it?” But folks were generally real (except apparently the girls I talked to in AIM chat rooms, but hey, I survived).

Nailed it on the head. I think also that you need to include that Canada’s relationship vis-a-vis trade with China will be affected by tariffs the US is placing on Canada, and same with Mexico. I think much of everything is from the viewpoint that China is a bigger problem than Russia at the moment. China is also recovering from some economic turmoil, and one way to do so includes expanding their reach, and so the intent is to limit China in other areas.

I feel so far behind, but I also compare 37 year old me to 27, and 25, and 23 year old me, and I was always in such good shape that I think j took it for granted. But it’s never too late to start, or to restart, or to unstop.

I stopped for a bit. Lemme tell you, real hard to get back on it. Fortunately been back on for a bit now too, and regardless, some aches and pains are just there, and that’s that!

Ha, I should’ve mentioned that you definitely won’t. It seems to paint this damned if we do damned if we don’t picture. But it at least paints a picture, versus what can at times feel like this great big unknown. It may also shed some light on some of the motivations for what’s happening. I dunno.

My brother sent this to me the other day and I gave it a watch. It feels pretty unbiased (although I’m uneducated), and seems to have a more macro, zoomed-out view of America and just nations on the whole. I thought it was pretty interesting and it helped to put some things in perspective.

Yeah, good point, perhaps there is some engineering rationale for having them powered the same, so that the speakers are guaranteed to work as long as the Starlink does.

Yeah, Subaru can have the Starlink disabled pretty easily by removing, essentially, a module behind the head unit. The only problem is that module also sends power to the front speakers. There’s been workarounds created, but it’s just asshole design at its finest.

I coat them in olive oil, salt, ross them on a baking pan at 425 for some time that I can’t specifically recall. Even my kids love them, and I certainly do. My favorite are definitely fried of, super crispy, but I like to think they’re marginally healthier baked.

When I was in high school, we’d split a gram of weed four ways and go to Wendy’s for the $4.20 meal. For less than ten bucks, you got stoned, a junior bacon cheese, four nuggets, small fry, and a small chocolate frosty. This was in the mid oughts so not that long ago!
