Xitter. The proper term is Xitter.
I downvoted it because I don‘t want to read the same old nows every day here.
I see. The next batch of tariff hallucinations is going to be extra spicy…
There are touchable graphics at the expo in Osaka. I think they‘re created by sonic waves and feel „fluffy“.
That‘s not even true, though. People will not like this, but most major console games used to be much more expensive 30 years ago, actually. They only became more affordable when the masses got into gaming and really dropped in price when they became fully digital. No idea where everyone got that morphed perspective from, maybe because most people borrowed games back then or bought them on flea markets. And I‘m really not trying to defend Nintendo here because what applied back then isn‘t the case anymore but people really have no idea just how expensive new N64 games used to be.
Whatever the case, I‘m happy to be a PC gamer right now. Let me tell you that.
Interesting you felt the need to tell me that instead of lecturing the person comparing Nintendo‘s practices with supporting a genocide. Very unique priorities indeed.
That one is on America.
You criticize capitalism, yet you participate in it. Curious. /s
If you know a manufacturer that‘s handing out world class controllers for free let me know, but otherwise I didn‘t ask.
Glad I‘ve waited for the Switch 2 pro controller to come out. I‘m in need of a new one and Xbox probably would‘ve been my second choice. And yes I‘ve looked into 8bitdio and what not, but they‘re not cheap either and I was happy with my switch pro for 7 years until recently.
Prepare to die on that hill I guess because this couldn‘t be further of what is happening right now. Copyright exists but only for top oligarchs.
It‘s too expensive for society already as it has stolen work from millions to even be trained with millions more to come. We literally cannot afford to work for free when the rich already suck up all that productivity increase we‘ve gained over the last century.
To be fair and I say that as a lifelong gamer: That‘s hardly one of my biggest concerns. I‘ve experienced ridiculous pricing policies in both software and hardware over the last couple years, preventing many of us to get their hands on the latest tech. Like, I will never own a high end computer. But I will also likely never own a house.
What I‘m trying to say is, gaming has been in an awkward spot for a very long time and it‘s still… fine. Paradoxically it‘s cheaper than ever to have a good time with games and the choices are endless even on a tiny budget. It‘ll be fine. We‘re facing much bigger problems in other areas right now.
AI is mainly a tool for the powerful to oppress the lesser blessed. I mean cutting actual professionals out of the process to let CEOs wildest dreams go unchecked has devastating consequences already if rumors are to believed that some kids using ChatGPT cooked up those massive tariffs that have already erased trillions.
The United States of America. A nation ruled by word salad.
It doesn‘t. It just read about it somewhere on the internet.
Headline makes it sound Ubisoft posted this, but it doesn‘t look like it.
So in short you disagree which is reasonable given the circumstances.
Besides, wouldn‘t it make much more sense to verify and mark genuine content rather than the slob which is becoming the majority of content?
Journalists? Probably just to see how it will go wrong and report about it so we don‘t have to.
There‘s a bitter irony in demanding parents doing their jobs because that‘s exactly why they don‘t have time for parenting. The cost of living is too damn high.
