Now i need to not die in the bugmuck so much. But this game is really solid.
Ah the bug muck. I once made it to the Greek area before moving on to seiken densetsu 3 which I also did not finish because I went back and played through chrono trigger again even though I’ve finished it like 5 times on multiple platforms. Why some games never get finished is a mystery. It’s not a bad game for square usa’s first game.
I mean, chrono trigger is chrono trigger after all.
Yes very magnetic, very hard to resist. Let us know when you reach the new area eh?
One of my favorite games of all times. Absolutely stellar soundtrack
Apparently i can only add one photo at a time, here’s the next
The alchemy system is really unique.
It’s more interesting than the magic sistem in secret of mana, and maybe more balanced. Secret of mana is the closest game to this one in terms of mechanic, but there’s a certain tiger boss that is required to unlock the magic system and it’s something else entirely.
But I liked chain casting infinite moon mp drain and damage spells to kill lock every boss.
That tiger in SoM is so awful.
That’s wild, I was just thinking of a replay. Do you know about RetroAchevements? The achievements kind of give me goals which have helped me actually finish these games.
Edit: I wanna add that I was thinking it’d be good to play with my 3yo, I don’t think she can mess anything up playing as the dog lol
It has achievements :)
Looks like quite a few completionist achievements, too. Totally my thing (with a guide) although people who don’t wanna grind for a day at endgame might just want to go for the “beaten” status. Lol
I forgot about this game but I LOVED it as a kid
I have never played this game but I legit feel like I have. Like it’s been in a dream. Mind if I ask what it’s like?
It’s an action adventure rpg where you whack enemies with ever more powerful sticks and weapons that takes place in a fully different location known as evermore, accessible through the lab of a secret scientist from some American town named “podunk” in the 60’s. Especially the lab, it feels eerie enough to be an end game area. The town of podunk is basically the setup so you don’t get to see much, but it’s cool to see a modern day location in an rpg that isn’t earthbound.
Looks a bit like the ending of Earhbound.
