I keep forgetting that virtual desktops are a thing that exists.
Why use a virtual desktop when you can simply buy more monitors?
Does anyone else never use them ever?
Multi-monitor setups make more sense to me, but I don’t even use that anymore after switching to a 65" 4K gaming OLED as my primary monitor. Its like having four 32" 1080p monitors arranged in a grid, except without any bezels. Plenty of screen real estate for anything I need to do.
How far do you even have to be to use a 65" screen? Doesn’t seem practical at all for desktop use.
Approximately 5ft away and I sit in a recliner, keyboard in lap and mouse on armrest. Doing so fixed my back pain issues. I’ll never go back to a desk with an office chair ever again.
5 feet is pretty damn close and using a mouse on an armrest sounds like punishment.
I used to use the end table next to me but that caused wrist pain.
FWIW it’s a big, flat armrest. Slightly bigger than a mouse pad, and I use a vertical mouse too which pretty much eliminates all wrist strain. I promise you that it’s extremely comfortable (for me at least).
