Why YSK: Seriously, so many people are shelling out cash for subscriptions when their public library probably offers a ton of these resources for absolutely free. We’re talking movies, music, e-books, and legitimate online learning platforms like LinkedIn Learning or Great Courses. It’s like a secret cheat code for saving money and leveling up your brain. Check your library’s website, you’d be surprised what’s included. Why pay when you don’t have to? It’s kind of a no-brainer.

Yeah! I’ve got several. Broadens the selection nicely. Also, my local library doesn’t have Hoopla, but the larger city in a nearby state does and was very cool about letting me get a card since I live in the boonies.

I was gonna mention my library organization others free museum passes, usually up to four tickets to bring children or friends. They even offer tickets to local concerts and shows. My friend and I went to a free showing of the orchestra! Please don’t flood the ticket site because there’s already a lot of competition for free tickets

You can often also checkout cd’s and dvd’s.

Completely unrelated but did you know you can rip your own dvd’s and cd’s to your computer as a backup in case the physical disc gets damaged? The process is quite simple.

More people need to know about

    Benn Jordan

I’m not gonna tell you about him beyond the fact that he’s an EDM artist known as The Flashbulb from basically the era of Aphex Twin. And he’s still quite relevant in the scene.

He did a video on how much it’d cost you in taxes to have all art for free forever and have artist paid well without 3rd part private companies. And literally every tax paying, private service subscribing human should know and vote accordingly.

I can get ps5 and switch games from my local library. Wait time can get silly like a year but still free

Mine too! Ps5, switch, and whatever version Xbox is on now. Plus DVDs, even new ones, including TV series. I don’t pay for any streaming services anymore. I have access to a couple from my family that still allow sharing, but I honestly rarely even use them. I have jellyfin, thrift store DVDs, and the library.
